Meet Caleb

A life-long horticulturist, Caleb builds beautiful, meaningful and restorative landscapes. He has created gardens in places and for clients as varied as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, hospitals, community foundations, botanic gardens, businesses and private homes. Prior to opening his own design, build business,  Caleb held the position of managing horticulturist for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s famous Cloister Gardens. While in charge of the gardens at The Met Cloisters, Caleb managed operations for the historically significant Olmsted Brothers designed grounds and the beloved medieval gardens. Caleb oversaw several restoration and re-design projects for the museum’s interior and external gardens. He also proposed and then accomplished the most significant project in the garden department’s history, the construction of an on-site, state of the art greenhouse. Before joining The Met, Caleb was a curator at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden where he was responsible for and helped design the celebrated Vegetable and Herb garden. Constructed in 2010, this garden was the most significant garden construction project in more than 50 years. Caleb has a practical, hands-on approach and a demonstrated experience completing complex and multi-faceted projects.

In his free-time Caleb can be found with his family, enjoying all the beauty the Rhode Island and southern New England offers.
